How to Measure Yourself for a Dress

To ensure the perfect fit, follow these simple steps:

1. Bust
        •       Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
        •       Keep the tape measure level and snug but not tight.
        •       Wear the bra you plan to use with the dress for accurate measurements.

2. Waist
        •       Find your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso.
        •       Measure around your waist, about an inch above your belly button.
        •       Relax your stomach—don’t suck in!

3. Hips
        •       Stand with your feet together.
        •       Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, typically 7-9 inches below your natural waist.
        •       Ensure the tape is level and not too tight.

4. Length
        •       Measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the hem of the dress to fall.
        •       Use a friend’s help for accuracy, or measure in front of a mirror.

5. Shoulder Width (if needed)
        •       Measure straight across your back from one shoulder seam to the other.

Tips:
        •       Always measure yourself in front of a mirror to ensure the tape is straight.
        •       If you’re between sizes, choose the larger size or check for customizable options.
        •       Write down all your measurements for reference!
